Daisy Detective, the world’s self-proclaimed greatest toy detective, arrives with her assistant Teddy Bear to introduce the art of detection: how to observe, decode clues, and solve mysteries. Through playful demonstrations, she invites the audience into her world—where toys have histories, secrets, and crimes waiting to be uncovered.
The performance quickly shifts from workshop to case. Daisy reconstructs a recent investigation: the disappearance of Brumma Bear from a playground. Using evidence, interrogations, and deductive reasoning, she initially suspects Lynx, a misunderstood “tough” toy. But as the clues fall into place, Daisy uncovers the truth: the elusive and dangerous Captain Crush—a master of disguise who targets rare, original teddy bears from 1903 and destroys them in a mysterious crushing machine is the villain in this story. But suddenly Teddy, Daisys assistent, goes missing.
Through a live, real-time rescue mission, Daisy follows clues left by Teddy and confronts Captain Crush once again. This is live streamed to the audience.
In the final reveal, Captain Crush is exposed as a forgotten original teddy—abandoned, never loved, and driven by loneliness and exclusion. His need for crushing stems from a desire to fill his own emptiness. Daisy rescues Teddy, but Captain Crush escapes in the last moment, leaving the case unresolved. The hunt continues.
The performance ends where it began, but the audience have learned how to see, question, and act like detectives. And Daisy, with Teddy by her side, sets off once more—on an ongoing gangster hunt.
