We are proud to announce Aqsaam-e-Naach, Andaaz-e-Kathak, a powerful Kathak performance by @mohsinbabarkathakar and his disciples at Alliance Française de Karachi.
This 75-minute showcase moves from the spiritual devotion of Guru Vandhana to the contemporary energy of the Fusion Tarana, followed by the technical tradition of the Paayal and the expressive poetry of the Ghazal solos.
Between the rhythmic coordination of the Tarana and the vibrant imagery of the Peacock Dance, the performance builds toward a powerful grand finale: Kathakar aur uss ka Saaz. This final piece brings the whole group together to celebrate the dancer’s instrument as the very essence of their craft.
