The Circle of Learning and Action’ is an interactive workshop, or rather a conversation, between people passionate about their communities and the impact the Indus River System has had on their communities. The Indus River is entrenched in Sindh’s history. Sindh’s culture, stories, and cuisine are deeply influenced by the Indus River. The river is a central part of our lives. It’s a source of sustenance but also a source of despair in the form of floods or drought.
The Circle of Learning and Action introduces concepts that help participants understand the social and historical context of the Indus River, understand how environmental systems can change, and introduces ideas about problem solving. Participants will go through a journey that can transform the way they think about the Indus River. Through this, we hope that participants can shift focus to resolve the problems climate change poses in whatever capacity they can.
